Current Crushes In Store: w/c 12th Feb 2018

This star print wrap dress from ASOS is a refreshing take on the wardrobe staple that was so popular last summer. It has a monochrome star print, with a ruffle detail that runs through the hem, sleeve, and wrap over. For a cute twist, the dress has a peek-a-boo open back detail, but is not too revealing allowing you to feel comfortable and still cover up your bra. Wear it casual in the day with trainers or sandals, or dress up for the evening with a pair of strappy heels. Who doesn't love a dress you can wear all day long?

Zara's silky feel sweater is the perfect way to inject purple into your wardrobe. If you are like me, and not prone to colourful wardrobe choices and purple scares the bejesus out of you, this is a really easy way to pull it off. Its a purple tone that can be worn easily with denim and under a blazer. You can wear it now with the cold weather by layering trusty black polo, and bring out in the warmer months to pair with white trousers.

Is it just me that has started looking for the perfect wedding guest dress? Well this teal number has given me all sorts of feels. I love the elegance of it, and the fact that it is elasticated which means no troubles with zippers after a long day and over indulgence. The off the shoulder trend looks like its here to stay as plenty of options are available on the high street. I love how they have paired it with some bold yellow heels, but it can also be worn with a metallic shoe, or even dip into the pinks and magentas.

If you haven't noticed, green has been making an huge impact in stores at the moment, with Toshop, Mango and Zara championing the hue. Bright green is not an easy colour or many people, me included, so this bottle green embroidered blouse from Zara seemed the best way to incorporate the trend into my wardrobe. Embroidery is still a huge trend, and going into spring/summer don't expect to see it go anywhere. It has a nice looser fit, which is not only comfortable, but makes a great pairing with trousers.

Top handle bags are one of the hottest bag trends of 2018, with many high street stores demonstrating their take on the trend which has trickled down from the higher end of fashion. This Mango wooden handle bag is such a great dupe for the Marni Pannier circle handle bucket bag which costs 1560 EUR for the small size. This Mango beauty is a fraction of the price - in fact you could buy 43 of the mango bags for the cost of 1 Marni. The Mango dupe comes in a wonderful Ecru faux leather with contrasting black wooden handles. There is also a shoulder/crossbody strap so you can wear which ever way suits you best.

I am loving these white leather courts from Mango. They have a square toe, and a interesting orange block heel. Mango are really hitting it out of the park with their designer dupes this season, as this screams Celine. The heel height is 2.5 inches, which is comfortable for a work or every day shoe, and the white colour is perfect to brighten up a dark winter wardrobe. Of course once the weather gets warmer these will work a treat. Not to mention the white footwear trend isn't going away anytime soon.

Tophop's pink 'Kilo' mules are much needed in my wardrobe. They are the most beautiful pink colour and anything that is suede is a yes for me. They are shaped with a leg lengthening point, and are a modern take on the ever so popular mule trend. You can pair these with crop denim, a dress, or skirt for a day out an know that you will be comfy in flats but most importantly still stylish. They also come in a neon yellow.

This is definitely something I see myself wearing when the weather gets warmer or when we eventually go on holiday somewhere sunny. But for the time being, you could wear this layered with a long sleeve tee, and trainers for a more causal look. However, in the sun, match this with tan mules, some gold jewellery, a rattan bag as shown in the pic, your fave sunnies and you've got yourself a super chic holiday look.

This Topshop straw circle cross body bag is a great summer bag. It comes in 2 colours, this tan and also a black. You know it's going to match everything, and its doesn't scream HOLIDAY BEACH BAG like some other rattan options out there, which may make you self conscious when using in the city on the bus with the rain pouring down.

This belted check jacket from Topshop is a great transitional piece as it is substantial enough to wear with layers underneath, but can also be a great spring coat for the warmer days and chillier nights. What's even better is that it comes in Petite and Tall as well as the regular fit, and it has been recently discounted by £10 (115 EUR). It has a striking blue that runs through the check, which is a nice touch to take you into the upcoming season.
